What's included in the free trial? +
Full access to all five audits + PDF reports for 7 days. Your card is required to start, but no charge fires until day 8. Cancel anytime in the customer portal — service continues through the trial period.
Can I switch between Author / Agent / Agency tiers? +
Yes, any time, from the Stripe Customer Portal. Stripe automatically prorates the difference — you only pay (or get credited) for the time you actually used the new tier.
How does cancellation work? +
One click in the Customer Portal. Your access continues through the end of your paid period. Annual subscribers retain service through the full year (no early-cancel refund). See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Do you store my manuscripts? +
No. Manuscripts are processed in memory and discarded the moment the audit completes. We never train models on your text. This is a binding commitment in our Privacy Policy, not just a marketing claim.
What's the difference between Slopsleuth and GPTZero? +
Slopsleuth is calibrated specifically for fiction — every audit measures a documented AI-prose pattern with thresholds tested against published novels. Generic detectors flag minimalist style as AI. We don't. See our comparison post.
Will Slopsleuth flag my manuscript as 'AI'? +
Slopsleuth doesn't render verdicts on authorship. We measure five specific patterns and report each transparently. The Account dashboard shows you what triggered, with the actual passages — you (or your agent) make the editorial judgment.
