EzPanda Inc. respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of Slopsleuth to do the same. If you believe content processed through the Service infringes a copyright you own, you may submit a notice in accordance with this Policy.

Note on manuscript handling

Manuscripts uploaded for audit are not stored by EzPanda. They are processed in memory and discarded upon completion of the audit. This Policy applies primarily to (a) any saved Audit Output that includes excerpts, (b) marketing or sample content hosted by us, and (c) future features where users elect to retain manuscripts.

Notice of claimed infringement

To submit a copyright infringement notice, send a written communication that includes:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent
Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, sufficient for us to locate it
Your contact information (name, address, telephone, email)
A statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized
A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

Counter-notification

If you believe content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification with: your signature; identification of the material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; and your contact information including consent to the jurisdiction of an appropriate court.

Repeat infringers

We will terminate, in appropriate circumstances, accounts of users who are repeat infringers.

Misrepresentation

Any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material is infringing, or that material was removed by mistake, may be liable for damages.
